Hola amigos e amigas! :D Im back. What? I bet you didnt even know I was gone, huh? Yeah, i left the country for a week. Went to Espanya with my sister. We went to Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid. It was an ok trip – a lot of walking, and dragging luggage up and down the metro stairs. Met a new firends, saw new places, ate a lot. Thing is, i think I am done with Europe for now. I dont want to see any more cathedrals (they’re starting to look all the same to me), narrow streets, castles, and tiny cars. There’s nothing with them, I just want to see something new. Plus, it’s getting really expensive to go there these days :D.
I thought i wanted to go on a trip on my own (or at least not with my husband). I thought I wanted to go to an adventure on my own again. As it turned out, I didn’t like it as much as I did the first time I travelled alone. I missed the kev so much. It was not as fun as i hoped it would be. It was still fun, just not the same. Next month, we’re going to the Philippines, that should be fun.
I lost my wallet. Not sure if it got stolen in the bus, or at Park Guell. Good thing it happened on our last night of the trip. Annoying. So we ended up going to a tapas bar and getting drunk :).
My writing sucks, so im cutting this short.

[...] Remember when I went to Spain and lost my wallet on our last day in Barcelona? That was exactly one month today. I thought we took care of that problem - calling Kevin back in the States and asked him to close all the accounts -I had 2 credit cards and 1 debit card in that wallet (plus the extra cash). All the banks said they’ve closed the accounts, and I have all the replacement cards now. So far so good. Nothing major has happened. Today, as I was checking my accounts (something that I do almost every other day), I noticed two charges A.C.E.S.A BRA.MOLLETNA for 2.16 dollars. Two of them. And of course, the FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEES. I almost immediately had a bad feeling about it. I googled the charge and this is the only thing I found in English - fearlessmoney.com. I immediately called the bank and after giving all my information to the first guy said that my account is not compromised, but he did transfer me to another department so i could dispute the charges. I had to repeat all the information again to this next person who later determined that I should report this to fraud department so she transferred my call. Again, they asked to verify all info. It took a while before this lady started to sound convinced that I was trying to report a fraud. She then said that those charges were made before the account was closed and they just rolled over to this new account. That wasnt convincing. That was the same thing the WaMu people said to the guy who wrote about his experience. The BofA lady said that at this time, my account is not compromised, that they will credit me back the charges made to the account within 72 hrs and that they will send me a mail with a form a had to fill out to claim the fraudulent charges.
