Over the last few weeks, things are starting to look like we’re really, seriously, getting ready for the next step – moving to a house. We haven’t found THE house the will fit our budget, our likes and dislikes, the perfect LLL.  In the area where we currently live, house prices are not going down generally because this is one of the most sought after location because of the school district, and because it’s generally cooler (closer to the water). It’s actually getting a little frustrating and depressing to know that three-quarter of the million dollars will not get you anything in this area. We would have to move a little farther east to get more house for the money… fine. So now im finding myself watching a lot of HGTV (house hunters, property virgins, design shows) and Discovery Home. I want to have a green home or at least Semi-green. Whatever. I want to be able to plant something for food, i want to able to do composting. That should be a good start. Eventually, I want solar panels, energy efficient windows, etc.  I am even reading about disposable vs cloth diapers because I think i would like to use cloth diapers (don’t get too excited, we’re not having a baby- yet).

Anyway, I’m just giving some updates on how we’re doing. We’re doing fine. My car got hit last Saturday (hit and run) and the upstairs retards are acting as my alarm clock every morning. We try to work out everyday to lose a little weight to get ready for the Philippines (we’re going on vacay for 3 weeks!), we celebrated Pops’ bday a couple of weeks ago, and we’ll be celebrating our paper anniversary next month!

That’s all for now. Hope you’re all doing well. TATAH!
