in the last couple of days, i found myself finding really simple words and phrases that have been written wrong and it just bugs (enough that I am, once again, writing about it).

a facebook status (rephrased):  i am so sick. i called AND sick today.  (honey, isn’t it called in sick? )

an english teacher wrote: i weight 125 pounds today.  ( weigh, sweetie).

and even my husband corrected me the other night when I put a comma after the word “otherwise” used as a transitional element. I emailed him the next day with a link showing that I was correct.

and like i’ve said before, i am so critical of other people’s mistakes, but i don’t usually see my own (even though i am well aware of the fact that I write and use a lot of the wrong words most of the time, too!).  sorry.

what’s my point? nada.

I’m with you 100%. I also have spelling and grammatical errors every now and then pero grabe naman yung iba. Ako yung nahihiya para sa kanila. Imagine, nag-shout out pa to there 200 or so friends sa FB tapos wrong grammer. Haayy, kaazar! (the “z” was intentional, in case i-correct mo, hehehe)
